I was diagnosed with ADHD recently. The score was 9 out of 9.

I had no idea throughout the thirteen years I was building the agency. Looking back, it makes sense. The hyperfocus that let me go completely deep on a client problem. The pattern recognition. The need to make things simple because I couldn't manage complexity that wasn't properly organised.

I build systems and workflows specifically for neurodivergent business owners and teams — not as a theoretical exercise but because I've been navigating this without a map for over a decade. About Me

In 2012 I co-founded Bearded Fellows in Manchester with no contacts and no funding. For thirteen years, I was the Marketing Director, running new business, growth strategy, and client relationships.

What I didn't know until recently is that I built all of that with undiagnosed severe ADHD. Getting the diagnosis explained the hyperfocus, the drive to simplify everything, and the ability to read a room.

That combination — the communication ability, the pattern recognition, the drive to make difficult things simple — is what I bring to the businesses I work with now. And the communication piece isn't accidental; alongside the strategy work, I'm a trained actor. That's why the workshops I run get genuine engagement from junior teams and boardrooms alike.

Now, I work as a fractional growth and AI operations partner. I embed in businesses, build the strategy and systems, run workshops, and step back when the job is done.
